At the heart of this backyard sanctuary is a gracefully contoured, resort-style swimming pool paired with an integrated raised spa. The pool’s interior features a richly hued finish that enhances the depth and clarity of the water, creating a striking mirror effect that reflects the surrounding landscape and sky. The spa, faced with stacked stone veneer and capped in honed natural limestone, offers a warm and intimate contrast to the expansive water feature.
Low-profile coping and thoughtfully curved lines echo the fluid motion of water and give the space an organic, custom-crafted appearance. Subtle water features add a gentle soundtrack, enhancing the sense of tranquility.

Movement throughout the property is orchestrated with wide, organic-cut bluestone slabs laid in a flowing pattern and bordered with creeping Thymus serpyllum, blurring the line between turf and stone. These walkways lead gracefully from the pool deck to the lower play lawn – an open green space crafted for children’s activities and family enjoyment, set within a frame of native shrubs and low-maintenance groundcovers.
Strategically placed boulders provide both functional seating and visual continuity between the constructed and natural elements of the garden, supporting a seamless sense of scale and rhythm throughout the design.
Adjacent to the main residence, a custom-built outdoor kitchen – featuring a built-in stainless-steel grill, refrigerator, and polished granite prep surfaces – anchors the patio and invites effortless alfresco dining. Graceful sweeps of ornamental grasses – such as Miscanthus sinensis and Carex morrowii – provide texture and movement, while Boxwoods and Ilex glabra lend year-round structure.
